Bob Silver Producer
Bob Silver is a staff producer and partner in Horizon Shine. Silver brings to Horizon Shine 12 years of commercial, video and television production experience. Silver’s producing credits include regular commercial clients such asMattel Toys, Hughes Markets and The Broadway for advertisind agencias including BBDO, Olgivy & Mather, and Evans, Hardy & Young. Bob recently line-produced the PBS 8-part series “Beyond Wall Street.”
Silver’s career in the entertainmennt industry began as an assistant at CBS Television City, where he developed production coodination skills on shows like The Price is Right, The Young & the Restless, and Newhart. Opportunity lead Silver to DIC Enterprises for a more hands-on approach to animated production. Bob was Production Manager for several television animated series including ALF, Alvin & The Chipmunks, and The Real Ghostbusters.
Being a production staff member at that point fostered other full-time options. He decided to strengthen his post production skills during a three year tenure as Post-Production Supervisor at Prime Cut Productions, where he was responsible for the completion and delivery of projects for cliennts including ESPN, Nickelodeon and The Discovery Channel.
Silver received his Bachelor Of Arts in Radio, Television & Film from Northern Illinois University in 1985 and relocated to Los Angeles.
